Throwables Mod

Throwables addon introduces a collection of throwable weapons designed to enhance both survival and creative gameplay in Minecraft. Currently in active development with more additions planned, the addon focuses on ninja stars (shurikens) as the primary throwing weapons. These projectiles can be aimed at any target, automatically picked up after hitting the ground, and possess unique destructive properties including the ability to break all glass types, normal ice blocks, and bamboo on impact.

The addon features four tiers of ninja stars crafted from different materials, each with distinct damage values and crafting requirements. The material progression follows Minecraft's standard resource hierarchy, with copper as the entry-level option, gold and iron offering mid-tier performance, and diamond providing the highest damage output plus a special piercing ability. All ninja stars can be recovered after use, making them reusable weapons perfect for combat encounters and resource-efficient gameplay.

Ninja Star Tiers

• Copper Ninja Star - 1.5 hearts base damage (3 half-hearts), crafted from 4 copper nuggets


• Golden Ninja Star - 1 heart base damage (2 half-hearts), crafted from 4 gold nuggets


• Iron Ninja Star - 2 hearts base damage (4 half-hearts), crafted from 4 iron nuggets


• Diamond Ninja Star - 2.5 hearts base damage (5 half-hearts), crafted from 4 diamonds, includes piercing ability to hit multiple targets

Core Mechanics

• Throwable projectile weapons that can be aimed at any target


• Automatically retrievable after hitting the ground


• Breaks glass blocks, normal ice, and bamboo on contact


• Reusable weapons for resource-efficient combat


• Crafted using nuggets or diamonds in 4-item recipes

Special Abilities
