Description
Modern Furniture is a big modern furniture addon for Minecraft Bedrock with hundreds of blocks for decorating houses, from sofas and kitchen cabinets to lamps, vents, garage items and seasonal decorations. The style is simple and minimalist, so the furniture fits well with vanilla blocks and other vanilla-style addons. Everything is split into categories like interior, bathroom, kitchen, garage, lighting, paintings and festive decor for Christmas, Halloween, summer and spring.
A lot of the furniture actually works instead of just standing there:
- Chairs and sofas let you sit with one click, and sofas connect into modular sets.
- Lamps, LED lights and curtains turn on/off or open/close with a click, and smart switches can control lights in a set range.
- Garage doors open with a lever, and vents and ducts can be opened and closed.
- Trash bins delete any item you throw on top of them.
- The calendar counts the days you have played and shows your full timeline.
Each block has a function tag like "Sit-able", "Ignitable" or "Configurable", and you can type these words in the Creative search bar to quickly find blocks with that feature. In Creative mode, all items are in the decoration tab, or you can use /give @p f: plus the furniture name. In Survival, put clay balls into a stonecutter to get category boxes, then place a box back into the stonecutter to choose a specific piece. This makes the modern furniture addon easy to use in any mode, without long crafting chains.
