One Block Survival Map

One Block Survival drops you onto a single grass block suspended in a snowy void with nothing but an Iron Shovel. There's no land around you, no add-ons, no block regeneration, just falling snow and an empty void in every direction. The goal is to survive long enough to find the End Portal and defeat the Ender Dragon, all from a platform you build yourself from scratch.

Expanding Your Platform

Snow is your primary early resource. As it falls, you collect it with your Iron Shovel and use it to grow your platform block by block. Every piece of ground you stand on has to be earned, which makes even basic expansion feel meaningful. From there, the progression opens up through trading and encounters with special mobs.

Emerald Foxes and Wandering Traders

Occasionally a Fox carrying an Emerald will spawn nearby. Catching one and taking its Emerald is one of the most important steps in early progression, since Emeralds are the currency for Wandering Traders. Traders are the only reliable way to unlock new resources, including tree saplings and moss blocks that let you build out your island beyond just snow. Trading isn't optional here: it's the core progression loop that gates everything else.

The End Goal

Somewhere near your starting block is a floating Stronghold containing the End Portal. Gathering enough resources to reach it, activate it, and walk into the fight against the Ender Dragon is what the entire map builds toward. It's a long road from a single grass block to the end credits, and every step of it has to be earned without ever leaving your floating island.
