Floating Island

This schematic is a pair of floating islands with an airship docked at one of them. The larger island has a rounded grass top with dirt and stone tapering to a point underneath, a small pond, a cluster of trees on a low rise, and a taller tree standing near the center. A rope bridge with fence railings runs from its edge across to the smaller island, and a wooden gangplank on the opposite side leads to the moored ship.

The airship is the centerpiece of the build. Its dark wooden hull carries a railed deck with crates along the sides, and it hangs from four large balloons in deep blue with white panels, each tied down by long ropes. White wing-shaped sails stretch out from the sides and fins sit below the keel, so the ship reads as being in flight rather than parked. Together the islands and the ship make the whole thing feel like a small settlement in the sky.
