Super Mario 8-Bit

This schematic recreates the classic 8-bit Super Mario sprite as a flat piece of pixel art, standing upright as a single blocky figure. The build faithfully copies the original game sprite block for block, from the rounded red cap and the brown hair and mustache framing the face down to the wide, planted stance of the boots. Because it stays true to the low resolution source, the whole figure reads instantly as the retro version of the character, with every pixel translated straight into a matching block.

The color work is what brings the sprite to life, using red for the cap and lower body, blue across the chest, brown for the arms and boots, and a pair of small yellow buttons on the overalls.
