red sandstone village

This village has seen better days. The crops are dead. The well is dry. The buildings are falling apart. But there's still a few goodies in the chests. There's a special surprise in the chest in the church building.

If you place this schematic with MCEdit, uncheck the 'copy air' box so you don't replace the existing terrain in your map with the empty air blocks from this schematic. Then sink the schematic 1 block down in the terrain to make the buildings sit on ground level. The walkways will be right below ground level. If your terrain is not flat, the buildings may be sunk a little into the ground (as in the screen shots here). It's a nice effect for an abandoned village.
