AI Multiplayer is an add-on for Minecraft Bedrock that populates your world with autonomous AI players. They spawn automatically and behave more like actual players than standard mobs โ navigating the world, crafting gear, swimming, escaping traps, and even chatting in the chat window. The mod works in singleplayer, effectively turning a solo world into something that feels occupied.
The AI players aren't just wandering around aimlessly. They form groups and engage in coordinated fights, adjust their behavior based on weather conditions, and have a combat IQ that makes them a genuine threat or a useful ally depending on your relationship with them. They can craft weapons and armor on their own, which means encountering a hostile AI later in the game can be a real challenge.
The most interesting mechanic is how you build relationships with AI players. Each one has a sympathy level that goes up or down based on your interactions. To raise it, you can:
The lower the sympathy level, the harder it is to convert an AI into a friend. Once you do win them over, they become proper companions โ you can teleport them to your location, request backup in fights, and manage your allies through two dedicated items for the friends list and help requests. It's a simple but effective progression layer that gives you a reason to interact with the AI beyond just fighting or avoiding them.
