Description
Almost anybody who has played Minecraft for a while will eventually build a castle, so this is my contribution.
(This castle includes NPC village structures which are copyright to Mojang A.B.). It has been built upon mountainous terrain which forms a part of the structure itself. Tunnels, bridges and duplex rail are attached to it and there is a rudimentary base underneath. Part of the castle sits atop a scarp formed where older terrain meets terrain generated by a newer version of the map generator.
Some of my other structures, such as the elevated footbridge and duplex rail form part of this schematic. The size is huge and incorporating it into another map would be considered quite a challenge. As always, I recommend placing it onto a test map, preferably a superflat map to assess its impact and positioning on your main working map.

- Put the downloaded
.litematicfile into the.minecraft/schematics/folder. - In game, press M to open the Litematica menu and choose Load Schematics.
- Select the file in the list and click Load Schematic.
- Position the placement where you want it and build β or paste it instantly in creative with Easy Place mode.
